In 2008, devastating flooding destroyed the Hancher building in Iowa City—and while Hancher continued to bring the community performing arts events—a new spectacular auditorium was being built. On September 9^th 2016, the new Hancher Auditorium opened and has since been offering the community incredible performing arts events and exhibits. In the studio today, we are joined by Executive Director of Hancher Auditorium Chuck Swanson to tell us a little bit about the new building and events that they have coming up!
