Woah Vicky, who knew Lil Tay for years, shared an adorable photo of them together on Instagram and wrote: “RIP Lil Tay.”

She then took to TikTok and said: “Rest in peace to Lil Tay and her brother. May they rest in peace in heaven and god bless them.”

“Sending prayers to them and their family. May Jesus comfort the family while they go through this hard loss and give them peace.”

The internet star still kept in touch with the teen despite her no longer posting on social media and claimed she spoke to her “the other day”.

She also shared a famous clip of herself brawling with fellow internet star Bhad Bhabie as Lil Tay watched from the sidelines.

Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, is the girl from the famous meme “Cash me outside, how ’bout that?”

She said the phrase during an episode of Dr Phil and went on to become a popular social media personality and rapper.

The pair brawled after Bhabie claimed Vicky used a racially derogatory term to describe one of her friends at a party in Los Angeles.

Lil Tay was there with Vicky and briefly joined in the feud, shouting “what’s up” in the now-famous blast. Here’s the video:

Lil Tay dies ‘suddenly’ at 14

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing,” the statement on Lil Tay’s Instagram says. “We have no words to describe the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.”

“This outcome was entirely unexpected and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief,” it continues. Her brother Jason Tian has died too.

“During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation,” it continues.

The statement says Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, will “forever remain in our hearts” and her absence has left an “irreplaceable void”. A cause of death for both Lil Tay and her brother was not given.
