William B. Travis High School Suicide – Death: Female Teenager Found Dead From Hanging, Austin, Texas

William B. Travis High School Suicide: Multiple law enforcement agencies were called to the William B. Travis High School campus after a student was found dead Thursday morning. According to reports, a teenage student was found dead from an apparent suicide by hanging at the school campus located in the area of 1211 E Oltorf St.

Law enforcement organisations report that the unidentified student was declared deceased on the spot. At around 7:30 in the morning, Austin, Texas, law enforcement authorities received a call to the scene. The person who was merely recognised as a student of the school was located by the arriving authorities. She was discovered near the back of the school, hanging from a tree.

After verifying that the young woman was deceased at the site, law enforcement agencies launched a death investigation. As police investigated what transpired and why she committed suicide on the school campus, her name was withheld. The Travis County school cancelled all of its classes for the day. The student’s next of kin must be notified before revealing their identity.

It was unknown at the time of publication if the student had experienced any abuse or bullying. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing by law enforcement agencies. Investigative work was being done by Travis County ISD.
