Why does Rashmika Mandanna touch her house help’s feet daily?

Recently she has revealed that she touches her elder house helper’s feet out of respect just like she touches any other house member’s feet so that house help doesn’t feel apart and segregated and she tries to treat everyone equally.

Speaking to the media she described how she respects all and doesn’t believe in discriminating against people as she feels that little things matter to her.  

Rashmika has a practice of touching everyone’s feet out of respect, including her house-help, because she doesn’t want to differentiate so she respects everyone as it defines who she is as a person.

In the same interview when she was asked if her parents were proud of her acting career she said “

“Not really, because my family is disconnected from the film industry, and they don’t realize what their daughter is doing.

But when I win an award, they feel proud. Perhaps I need to accomplish a lot more to make them truly proud of me.

My parents have raised me without any qualms, they provided me with everything a child could ask for, and I am grateful for that. And it is now my turn to take care of them.”
