Born in Ottawa, Canada, he studied acting at Canterbury High School before he moved to New York where he started working for publicist Lizzie Grubman.

Simon landed a role at Command PR in 2006 and in 2010 he became a partner at the firm. The PR whiz bought Jonathan Cheban’s share in 2013 and relaunched the company in 2017.

Simon tied the knot with his long-time partner Phil Riportella last weekend.

The two had a pre-wedding dinner celebration on Friday before they exchanged their vows on Saturday, November 13th in a private ceremony.

The couple held the wedding’s reception at Bel-Air Hotel where celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Kendal Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and others, celebrated the couple’s love.

Simon popped the question back in January 2020 at a romantic spot in Montauk, New York.
