Actress Jodie Sweetin is set to walk down the aisle with her longtime partner Mescal Wasilewski.

The 39-year-old announced news of her engagement on Instagram on Monday (January 17th), flaunting her flashy engagement ring.

Sweetin captioned the snap of her and Wasilewski: “I love you Mescal, for always. You’re my person. I can’t wait to see the life that lies ahead of us.

“Here’s to us, @ghostfacelito and our life of adventures. Together.

“I think I’m really gonna like turning 40.”

Who is Mescal Wasilewski?

Jodie Sweetin can’t help but gush about fiancé Mescal Wasilewski, but who actually is he? Allow us to explain.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Mescal is a Primary Therapist based in Los Angeles. His bio states that he’s “worked in the field of addiction and mental health for over 16 years, helping to treat clients with a range of diagnosis and difficulties.”

Wasilewski also noted that he attended Hunter College and California State University-Northridge, earning a degree in Sociology.

Mescal might be LA-based now, but it wasn’t always that way. As reported by Hollywood Life, Jodie Sweetin previously explained that their relationship had initially been long-distance. The star shared: “At first, he and I had a long-distance relationship. He was in Brooklyn, and I was here in [Los Angeles] for three and a half years, and it was slow and nice.”

The pair confirmed that they were dating in 2018 via an Instagram post and, after 4 years together, Mescal has finally popped the question!

It’s unclear whether or not Wasilewski has any children from previous relationships, though Sweetin has two kids from other marriages.
