Who is Kavuma Dauda? Wikipedia – Kavuma Dauda is Ugandan official manager and founder of Triplets Foundation which is a trio of young dancers from Uganda. This foundation gained worldwide fame after receiving the golden buzzer in the middle of Britain’s Got Talent. Kavuma Dauda was born in 1979 in Butambala during a turbulent period in Uganda’s history. He is 37 years old as of 2023. His zodiac sign and religion are not known. He graduated as a mathematics teacher in 2007.
During his life’s first 6 years, Uganda was embroiled in a devastating civil war. Kavuma’s father passed away leaving his mother to take care of their children. Kavuma learned a lot about how to hustle from a very young age.

Dauda Kavuma has been teaching dance to 30 children from the age of 3 to 13 years. Most of the students are orphans and others have come from the streets.
Kavuma told TRT Afrika,
“When they call me “Daddy…Daddy…Daddy” I feel comforted. When they dance, they forget about all their problems. I teach them to dance and love. They love each other like siblings even if they do not come from the same family. This is our first competition to participate and this is our first success.”
Golden Buzzer annual dance and judging competition held in the UK where Kavuma’s dance foundation Ghetto Kids was highly rated to make it to the semi-finals.
Dauda said,
“Our group is called Ghetto Kids and I created this group to give a second life to these children even though they have lost their family members. I am working hard to get these children into school.”
On 20 May 2023, The Ghetto Kids performed in the UK. a member of Ghetto Kids, Ssegirinya Madwanah said about Kavuma after Ghetto Kids’ performance,
“Being part of Ghetto Kids has given me a lot of opportunities in life. He feeds me, pays school fees, and buys clothes for me. If one of us is sick, we are sick and if one of us is happy, we are all happy.”
Ssegirinya said,
“Even if Mr. Kavuma David is not our real father, he is the one who takes care of us. Thanks to Daddy Kavuma, we came here to London. We came here to perform and we are going to show the world that in Uganda there are children who dance with their hearts.”
During the performance of Ghetto Kids, the audience was overjoyed to see the entry of Josephine Busingye with a doll on her back. Josephine is a 5-year-old dancer from Ghetto Kids.
little Josephine Busingye told the judges,
“My name is Josephine and I’m five years old.”
Judge Bruno Tonioli said in a video,
“You can be proud of yourself. I had a great time – I’ll be happy to see you in the next round.”
