He opened his own clinic in 1979 on 2020 West 86th Street in the Indianapolis area.

Dr Donald Cline Fertility Fraud

Donald Cline created a fertility fraud. The investigation started when Jacoba Ballard took a DNA test and found that she has 8 unknown siblings.

After some time, she knew that her biological father was her mother’s fertility doctor who was Donald Cline. He used his sperm to inseminate patients without their agreement or knowledge at his fertility clinic which led to him being the father of over 90 people.

He was convicted on two felony counts of hindering the investigation and lying to authorities about using his own sperm.

He was given a one-year suspended sentence by the authorities. However, he was not charged further just because of not any law in Indiana specifically prohibits fertility doctors from using their own sperm.

After the fertility fraud, he surrendered his license to the Medical licensing board of Indiana in 2018. He is now in his 80s and has served no time for his misdeeds.
