Lily Peters’ Murderer

Prosecutors said on 27 April 2022 that Carson told investigators, when she was returning from her aunt’s home to her home with her bicycle then he caught her in the way and took away her to the wooded area and punched her in the stomach and then he knocked her to the ground. 

He essentially strangled her and hit her with a stick. Then he physically assaulted her and strangled her to the point of death. Carson admitted that he had been planning to rape and kill Lily. 

Judge ben Lane called Carson’s alleged crimes “a serious threat to the community” and granted prosecutors’ request to detain the boy on a $1 million cash bond. Carson’s defense team asked for a $100000 bond by arguing that he was not a flight risk because Carson was too young to drive. 

Carson is charged with first-degree physical assault of a child under age 13 resulting in great bodily harm and with first-degree intentional homicide. A judge has sealed the criminal complaint.
