Westbound Interstate 88 at mile marker 9 near Hillsdale is closed due to an overturned semi truck.

A detour is set up, exiting at Illinois 2 to Illinois 92 and back to I-88.

According to Illinois State Police, the semi was traveling westbound on I-88, left the roadway to the left, entered the center median, overcorrected, crossed over both westbound lanes of traffic and overturned.
