Fox News host Uma Pemmaraju, 64, passed away on August 8 at the age of 64. Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media, expressed her grief by saying:

“We are saddened by the passing of Uma Pemmaraju, one of the original hosts of the FOX News Channel and the channel began broadcasting on the day we aired. Uma is known for the generosity she shows to everyone she works with, in addition to her journalistic abilities. We extend our deepest condolences to her entire family.”

Pemmaraju’s cause of death has yet to be revealed and funeral details are unknown at this time.

Uma Pemmaraju is a founding member of Fox News.

Uma was born in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, on March 31, 1958. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where she attended Trinity College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. She studied international relations for a year at American University as part of an exchange program with Trinity University.

At the beginning of his career, Pemmaraju joined KENS-TV and San Antonio Express-News respectively as a producer and reporter. She was the editor of the university newspaper before becoming a news anchor and reporter for KTVT-11. She later worked for WMAR-TV in Baltimore, WFVI and WBZ-TV in Boston. She is a producer and reporter for WBZ’s Evening Magazine.

She later rose to fame as the host and host of the US News Headquarters alongside Uma Pemmaraju on Fox News. In addition, she is also a reporter for Bloomberg news.
