Chief Nobles of the local police informed that first responders, including fire rescue personnel, arrived on the scene around 2:30 p.m. They were joined in their life-saving efforts by an off-duty nurse who had stopped to offer her assistance.

Medical staff on-site quickly alerted law enforcement about the critical nature of Tristan’s injuries. In a swift response, a D’Iberville police officer rushed Tristan to Merit Health Biloxi. A nurse and a firefighter accompanied him in the vehicle, diligently performing life-saving interventions throughout the journey.

This is indeed a devastating tragedy,” Chief Nobles stated in a press release issued Monday morning.

Preliminary investigations disclosed that Tristan was in the company of friends and was attempting to cross Lamey Bridge Road near the C-Store, heading west towards Academy Sports, when a southbound Jeep collided with him.

While both the D’Iberville and Biloxi Police Departments continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, no charges are anticipated at this juncture.
