A new trend is going viral on TikTok that sees users finding out their eye shape using a viral chart – here’s exactly how to do the challenge.
With the US Election over, TikTok users are looking for new things to keep them entertained on the app, and a brand new trend has emerged called the Eye Shape Chart Challenge.
Using a chart that can be found on Google images, people are finding out exactly what shape their eyes are. Who knew there were so many different eye shapes?
If you want to take part in the trend but you’re a little unsure how, here’s a step-by-step guide.

What is the Eye Shape Chart TikTok?
A new challenge is becoming popular amongst TikTok users that sees people using an ‘eye shape chart’ to find out what shape their eyes are.
The chart is just a list of different eye shapes, and users must try and find out which one applies to them the most.
It’s unknown who created the viral chart, but the different eye shapes on it include round, roundish-almond, almond, thin almond, droopy, droopy hooded, hooded, Asian and childish.
How to do the Eye Shape Chart Challenge on TikTok
To find out what shape your eyes are, you’ll need to use a filter called the Eyes and Mouth Filter which is actually on Snapchat.
- Open the Snapchat app and go to the camera screen.
- Press the smiley face to the right of the camera button to bring up the filters section.
- Click on ‘create’ in the bottom left-hand corner.
- Slide along until you find the eyes and mouth filter (see image below).
- Save the eye chart photo and set choose it as a background.
- Now film a video and compare your eyes to each category.
- Save the video to your camera roll and upload it to TikTok.
Where to get an Eye Shape Chart
Finding an eye shape chart to use as your background image is simple.
All you need to do is type ‘eye shape chart’ into Google images, find the one that everyone is using on TikTok and save it to your camera roll.
