The Couple Breaker Chapter 42 will be the latest installment in the Romance Drama Manhwa. The story follows the life of students of Guntae University as they embark on a reality TV Show together. The show wasn’t like your usual Dating Show.

In Couple Breaker, you win by committing adultery. It’s a show to test how much you love your significant other. The prize is an attractive 1,000,000 KRW. 

Our protagonists are Yang Tae-Rin, a Fashion student at Guntae University, her boyfriend Chu Gyeong-Mo, Gong Ju-A, who used to be a singer and is currently a classmate of Tae-Rin, and her boyfriend Bong Yoon-Sik.

Tae-Rin is known around the campus for being a social butterfly as well as a fashionista. She is planning on starting a clothing business with her boyfriend. It was he who suggested they go to the show as a way to promote themselves as well as their shop. 

However, Tae-Rin was not up for it. This caused a fight, leading to Gyeong-Mo storming out. Coincidentally, Ju-A was fighting with her Boyfriend and stormed out as well. They both ended up in the same bar, got to talking, and as they were exiting the bar together, they kissed.

This caused a whole lot of different emotions to form within their minds, which eventually led them to break up with each other’s partners, get together, and join Couple Braker. Tae-Rin and Yoon-Sik follow suit as well. 

The Couple Breaker Manhwa Recap

At the beginning of the chapter, we see Tae-Rin trying to fix Gyeong-Mo’s collar and him swatting her hand away. He goes on a tirade, asking if he is not good enough. Though Tae-Rin was just trying to help him, Gyeong-Mo took it in the wrong sense.

Later, they went back to the mansion, where everyone was gathered, and they went to have some food. While everyone else was eating, Tae-Rin was busy drinking.

After dinner, they were all hanging out in the living room, where one of them noticed a guitar. Yoon-Sik got up to play the guitar with everyone applauding him. This made Ju-A think back to when they performed at university together.

Tae-Rin noticed the sudden shift in Gyeong-Mo’s expression and decided to take his mind off things. She got up and started singing. This was the first time others heard her sing and realized that she was tone-deaf.

The Couple Breaker Chapter 42 Spoilers & Predictions

Looks like there are leftover feelings from both sides just waiting for their moment to shine. However, they cannot jeopardize the show. It will be interesting to see how Tae-Rin tries to convince Yoon-Sik that she is enough to, better yet, help him move on from Ju-A. Gyeong-Mo should do the same with Ju-A as she, too, seems to be having regrets about how they ended things.
