Sonali Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka has blamed Sangwan for raping Sonali Phogat and also Sudhir planned to theft her house last year. Sonali Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka also accused him of murdering Sonali for her money and property.

Sudhir started working in Gohana Bar Association and Later, he left his practice and started a Poultry Farm near his village. In 2019, he came in the contact with Sonali Phogat in Lok Sabha Election, through a man. Soon he started working with Sonali Phogat as his Personal Assistant.

Sudhir helped her during election campaigns. Before Sonali’s Death, Sudhir had a strong hold over Sonali’s personal things like flat, farm house, financial assets.

On August 22, 2022, Sonali Phogat was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Goa. It is said that she died cause of a Heart Attack but her autopsy revealed that she had a lot of injuries on her body. And when the Post-Mortem report came, Sonali’s Family alleged that she was raped by 2 people.

In Police Investigation, police founded Sudhir more suspicious with the CCTV footage, which was showing that Sudhir handling Sonali as she could not even walk properly.
