Robert T. Brady is an Independent Vice Chairman of the Board, Lead Independent Director of the Company. He serves as Vice Chairman of M&T’s Board of Directors and as its lead independent director. He is the former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A), a worldwide manufacturer of control systems and components for aircraft, spacecraft, automated machinery and medical equipment. Mr. Brady served as Moog’s Executive Chairman from 2011 until his retirement on January 31, 2014. He is a director of Astronics Corporation (NASDAQ: ATRO) where he serves as a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. Mr. Brady is also a director of CUBRC, Inc., a research, development, testing and systems integration company as well as the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, both located in Buffalo, New York. He previously served as a director of ENrG, Inc., Seneca Foods Corporation (NASDAQGS: SENEA) and of National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE: NFG). Mr. Brady is a member of the Executive Committee and NCG Committee of M&T. He is also director of M&T Bank and a member of its Executive Committee. Mr. Brady is an experienced and successful business leader with a track record of helping companies innovate, grow and create jobs. He brings insight into risk management, operational risk and strategic planning.
