She has acted in over 1,400 films and is credited as a character artist who shared screen space with superstars from all generations of South Indian cinema, with a career spanning over six decades.
She made a famous pairing on the Telugu screen with comedian Raja Babu during the 1970s and 1980s. She acted opposite Nagesh in Shanthi Nilayam and several other films from 1968. She acted in Hindi opposite Mehmood in the film Do Phool.
