On the information of his murder, top police officers have reached the spot. Police have barricaded the entire Sikar district. There have been reports of 3 bullet injuries to Raju. The borders of Jhunjhunu and Haryana have been sealed.

According to the sources of the Delhi Police Special Cell, criminals were planning to kill Raju for 10 years.

Rohit Godara, the history sheeter of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the murder. Rohit Godara wrote that he has avenged the murder of Anandpal and Balbir. 

Sikar SP Kunwar Rashtradeep said that Raju was murdered. On the basis of CCTV footage, the involvement of 4 youths in the murder case has come to the fore.
