Paul B. Linden Obituary, Native Of Belleville Passes Away At 82
On Sunday, December 31, 2023, Paul B. Linden, 82, of Belleville, passed away at his residence. He was born in Madison General Hospital on May 28, 1941, the son of Delta (Storkson) and Clarence Linden. Following his graduation from Belleville High School in 1960, Paul joined the US Air Force. He married Geraldine Heinzman on October 4, 1961, at Belleville’s St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Paul would spend twenty years in the Air Force, retiring as a senior master sergeant in 1980. Paul served as a program director at the Fluno Center and worked at the University of Wisconsin School of Business in Madison after leaving the Air Force.
After retiring, Paul would hunt for furniture to refurbish and gather glassware from thrift and antique stores. He also relished the company of his friends at J&M’s.
Geraldine, his wife, Julie (Mike) Fizgerald, Diane Linden, and John (Theresa Kazda) Linden, along with eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, survive Paul. In addition, his sister Rosemary Ziehli, nieces, nephews, and devoted dog Lucy survive him. Paul’s parents passed away before him.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., family and friends are invited to the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, located at 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, at 12:00 noon, there will be a military honors ceremony and a memorial service at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
