NWS confirms Wednesday tornado near Salem, IA

Meteorologists from the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities confirmed a tornado was on the ground briefly near Salem, IA on Wednesday.
The tornado rates as an EF-0 and had winds of 60mph. The twister was 20 yards wide.
No damage happened but the tornado was on the ground for about 3 minutes. The twister formed at 2:56 p.m. and lifted by 2:59 p.m.
