NWS confirms tornado in Colona Tuesday morning

NWS meteorologists have done a quick survey in Colona, IL and determined that this morning’s damage was caused by an EF2 tornado with winds of 120mph.

A roof was torn off of a gas station and one wall collapsed.

We’ll have further info as it’s made available by the NWS.
