After ten years of marriage, Bam Margera and Nicole Boyd divorced. From 2007 to 2012, Margera was married to Melissa “Missy” Rothstein. Boyd filed for divorce due to their ongoing irreconcilable differences. According to court documents, Boyd asked for full custody of the children and allowed Margera to visit him several times. Nicole also asked Bam to pay alimony and legal costs.

Boyd’s attorney, David Glass, recently spoke to People. He said his client chose to part ways because Bam’s drug and alcohol addiction had worsened to the point where he couldn’t provide for her and their family. Glass went on to say:

“Nikki invested everything she had to keep Bam clean and protect her family.”

The couple has faced many challenges over a long period of time due to Bam Margera’s involvement in various legal troubles and events at the rehab center in 2022. Boyd told People in a statement that she expects her husband to. will be clean after return to treatment.

Bam Margera was initially engaged to Jenn Rivell, with whom he worked several times. The couple divorced in 2005 and things took a turn for the worse when Margera claimed Rivell had broken into his residence. Margera said he was terrified and didn’t know what Rivell would do next when he appeared in Chester County General Court of Appeals to make a decision about protection from an abuse hearing. Margera describes an event in October 2005, in which Rivell jumped over a fence and crashed through a back door. He continued:

“It was about 4 a.m. about a year before the October event… She jumped over the fence and kicked in the door. She got mad at me and said I shouldn’t have ended our relationship.”

Margera said that when he and Rivell broke up, he destroyed some of his stuff and that he had been assaulted before. Bam married Melissa “Missy” Rothstein in 2007 after becoming engaged in 2006. The wedding was also featured on Bam’s MTV series Unholy Union. The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2012.
