Kirsten Hansen directed the film. “I couldn’t be luckier with how my movie turned out; it’s so beautiful, and our amazing cast made me laugh, gasp, fall in love, chuckle, and weep,” she tweeted once they were done. Nantucket Noel Filming Locations

The “Nantucket Noel” production was shot in Canada, primarily around and within the province of British Columbia. Starting in September, 2021, the shooting was completed by the end of October. Many fans might have believed that the movie was shot in Nantucket, but this was likely just a result of the special effects team’s painstaking work. 

The region’s varied and distinctive sceneries may be found in numerous locations, the natural beauty is a sight to behold, and the producers benefit from the valuable tax credit offered by the state government.

Furthermore, any size of industrial, whether it be regional, regional, Telemovie, or a global smash, can be accommodated in Vancouver and Burnaby’s fully built production areas. The Sunshine Coast location, located on the Straits of Georgia in the southwest region of British Columbia, is specially chosen to host the filming of “Nantucket Noel.”

The production crew chose a quaint coastal town or Gibsons to serve as a stand-in for Nantucket, mostly in film.  Despite being a small city, Gibsons attracts tourists from throughout the nation and overseas because of its unique fusion of the old and contemporary.

The “Nantucket Noel” shooting will take place specifically at the Sunshine Coast locale, situated on the Strait of Georgia in the southwestern region of British Columbia. The production staff decided on the sleepy seaside community of Gibsons to act as a hold for Nantucket in most of the films.

Despite its small size, Gibsons draws visitors from around the country and abroad thanks to its distinctive combination of the ancient and the modern. The region, called Gibsons Wharf locally, has gradually changed from a woods industry to a variety of industries. 

The town’s Molly’s Reach restaurant, situated at School Road, served as the backdrop for several scenes. They most likely established themselves in Pacific Dunes Beach Hotel, a three-star establishment outside of Tofino on Pacific Rim Highway.

What Is the Premise of Nantucket Noel?

After her mom’s death, Christina takes over the household toy shop near the Nantucket harbor. She struggles to let go of her mom’s emotions, but another issue is still to solve. Real estate agent Andy, ambitious and self-assured, travels to Nantucket for Xmas with his little daughter.

The issue is that Andy was discussing with his dad about turning the port into a modern marina, which jeopardized Christina’s ancestry. In the meantime, Christina starts to feel something for Andy, but their divergent interests could ruin their relationship.

Who stars in Nantucket Noel?

The ‘Schitt’s Creek‘ star Sarah Powers plays Christina, while Trevor Donovan, a big star of Hallmark, plays Andy.  Bruce Dawson, Payton Lepinski, Daniel Bacon, Daniel Bacon, Fiona Vroom, & Heather Nortey are some of the notable members of the cast who play a variety of roles. Candice Hunter, Sophia Johnson, Piper Dacosta, and K. Bilash are featured in other supporting roles.
