The Lincoln Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a tragic motorbike accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80. In a harrowing incident near the ramp at Exit 397 in Lincoln, a motorcyclist veered off the roadway, resulting in his ejection from the vehicle.

At 4:02 p.m., the LPD received a call. In a tragic turn of events, the driver involved in a motorbike accident was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. However, despite efforts to save their life, the driver ultimately succumbed to the injuries sustained in the incident.

In a statement provided by Captain Duane Winkler, it has been reported that the LPD is currently reaching out to the driver’s family and conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
