Mayford A Spicer Obituary; In Loving Memory of Mayford A Spicer

Saying farewell to someone we love and appreciate is often a challenging experience. Mayford A. Spicer, who was born in Livingston, Tennessee, and became a resident of Rock Island, Tennessee, passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 89. His family and friends must now say their final goodbyes to their dear loved one. If you would like to express your condolences to the family, you can do so in the guestbook that has been provided.

His brothers Ronald Spicer and Vernon Spicer, as well as his sister-in-law Gloria Mae Spicer, passed away before him. His parents, Coby D. Spicer and Anna Odell Maynard Spicer, were also among those who passed away before him.

He is survived by his children, Joey Spicer (Angie) of Rock Island, Tennessee, Sue Eaton (Jack) of Centerton, Arkansas, Kathryn Kelly (Ben) of Memphis, Tennessee, and Karen Roach (Rodney) of Sherman, Texas; his grandchildren, Emily Harrison (Greg), Charlotte Evans (Tim), Wesley Eaton (Katy), Coby Spicer (Jade), Caleb Ranstrom (Taylor), Kelsey Kelly (Jon), Kyle Roach, BJ Kelly, and Hannah Kelly; and his siblings, Eulene Robbins (Leon), Clarence Spicer (Pauline), Joe Spicer (Arlene), Mike Spicer (Patricia), and Jack Spicer. In addition, he is survived by his children and grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by eleven Great-Grandchildren, in addition to nieces, nephews, and cousins at this time.

At the McMinnville Funeral Home, which is located at 117 Underwood Road in McMinnville, Tennessee 37110, there will be a visitation on Friday, January 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. On the Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at one o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a funeral service held at the same place.

Donations in memory of the deceased can be donated to Meals on Wheels, Fall City Baptist Church, or Gideon’s International Memorial Bible Program in place of flowers.
