Indian actress Mallika Sherawat was born on 24th October 1976 in a small village in Haryana. She did her schooling at Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, and later obtained a degree in philosophy from Miranda House, Delhi University. Mallika comes from a very conservative family and she faced many obstacles at the initial stages of her career. However, later her family accepted her career choice and supported her with the decision. She started her career as a model and was featured in several television commercials. Later, she made her Bollywood debut with Jeena Sirf Merre Liye (2002) in a small role. It was in the year 2003, she was seen in the film Khwahish which made her a popular face. Later, she was seen in the film Murder (2004) which gained her the nomination for Best Actress at Zee Cine Awards. The film was one of the biggest hits of the year. In 2005, she acted in a Chinese film The Myth (2005) opposite actor Jackie Chan. In the following years, Mallika Sherawat was seen in films like Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), Aap Kaa Surroor (2007), Welcome (2007), Ugly Aur Pagli (2008), Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam (2008), and so on.
