The identities of the two individuals, both 23 years old, who were discovered deceased following a car collision on Highway 8 near Floodwood on Saturday morning, have been revealed.

The victims have been identified as Joseph David Trowbridge, a resident of Woodbury, and Madison Joy Warren, hailing from Oakdale. The fatal car crash claimed their lives, leaving behind a devastating impact on their families and the community.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, at around 2:45 am, authorities were alerted to a distressing incident through an automated 911 call originating from an iPhone. The call reported a severe crash involving the owner of the device.

The vehicle was discovered in the vicinity of the 11500th block of Highway 8, near Floodwood.

Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies discovered two passengers who had tragically lost their lives. Additionally, they encountered the driver, who was in critical condition and faced the harrowing predicament of being trapped inside the vehicle.

All three victims of the crash were 23 years old.

The driver was transported by air to a hospital in close proximity and is presently in a stable condition.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the crash is believed to have been influenced by alcohol and speed.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
