Cynthia Peak, Katherine Koonce, and Mike Hill were 3 employees at a school in Nashville, Tennessee. They all were the victims of a shooting that left 6 dead at a school.
3 staff members and 3 pupils were killed when a 28-year-old female former student opened fire at the Covenant School on Monday morning, 27 March 2023.
The 3 employees were named Cynthia Peak (61), Katherine Koonce (60), and Michael Hill (61), and the other 3 were children. They were all aged 9 and under, and have been named Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney. Nashville Police say they were all targeted at random.

Cynthia Peak, Katherine Koonce, and Mike Hill were 3 employees at a school in Nashville, Tennessee. They all were the victims of a shooting that left 6 dead at a school.
A deadly mass shooting was witnessed at the Nashville Christan School when the former student Audrey Hale strikes the school with open gunfire on Monday 27 March 2023.
In the gunfire, She killed 6 people including 3 kids and 3 school staff members. During the fire, she was carrying at least 2 assault rifles and a handgun, police said.
According to the police, it seems that she has carefully planned this attack with a proper map and full surveillance check in the school.
Katherine Koonce is represented on Covenant’s website as the Head of the School. One parent told News that Ms. Katherine Koonce was a “saint, and She knew every single student by the name”.
The Parents said the school’s vocation was “helping children become who God intends them to be”. Katherine was 61 years old and the head of the Covenant School.
Katherine is also the author of the book named Parenting the Way God Parents: Refusing to Recycle Your Parents’ Mistake.
Mike Hill was a custodian at the school. On Facebook, a female identifying herself as his daughter said that he had “fully loved” working at Covenant School.
Mike Hill formerly worked at Covenant School and was later hired by Nashville Convent School more than 13 years ago. He was 61 years old.
Cynthia Peak was a substitute teacher, who was working at the school on the day of the shooting.
At a church service, which was held only hours after the shooting, a senior minister said that Evelyn Dieckhaus was in the 3rd grade when Cynthia died.
The 6 victims of a fatal shooting at a Nashville private school, have been identified by law enforcement officials.
3 children and 3 staff members were murdered at the Covenant School, a Christian school for students in preschool through 6th grade, on Monday morning.
