Wall enrolled at the University of Kentucky in 2009 and immediately made an impact. On September 22, 2017, Wall was inducted into the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame.

Reebok signed Wall as their NBA face on June 23, 2010, making 2010 a pivotal year in his career.

The rising star’s dream of playing professional basketball came true just a day after signing with Reebok. In the 2010 NBA Draft, he was selected as the number one pick of the Washington Wizards.

John Wall and his tattoo

The wall basketball star has long been famous for not having any tattoos on his body. Instead, he’s known for avoiding body art to maintain his good boy image.

In addition, many media reports that basketball wizards always dress appropriately to maintain their image, especially with kids who idolize NBA players. According to the Washington Post, Wall has repeatedly refused to get a tattoo due to image and market concerns.

Wall insists he couldn’t defy his mother’s advice and get the tattoo he’s wanted since he was a teenager. Fast forward to 2013, Wall’s body has tattoos on his stomach, back and one side of his chest but he has no designs on visible body parts.

However, Wall’s recent social media post shows that his attitude towards tattoos has changed. On Instagram, he shared a photo of himself with designs in ink all over his body.

According to ClutchPoints.com, Tuong is engraved with his mother’s name on his right chest, along with the words “Mommas Boy” and a proud photo of Little Wall with his father on his left chest.

Similarly, he has a brick design and the words Great Wall of China painted on his back. And his midsection fully displays the skyline, area code, and interstate 40 sign, which is characteristic of his hometown of Raleigh.
