Jerry LePore Obituary – Cause of Death: Founder of Powerflow Yoga, Jerry LePore dies at 58.

Jerry will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.

On Thursday, November 30th, Jerry passed away suddenly but peacefully. His cause of death was not immediately mentioned.

Jerry was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Nutley, the son of James and Katherine LePore. His journey took him from his days in Nutley to his beloved Villanova University where he graduated in 1987 and then back to Hoboken and Chatham. He pursued his love for Yoga, eventually founding and growing the Powerflow Yoga business into a prominent enterprise with multiple locations. He did all of this while battling a rare form of leukemia and dedicated much of like to support those similarly affected, his obituary said.

Jerry will be sorely missed by family, friends, the general PFY community and many who knew him.

Two years later, in 2014, I obtained my certification as an instructor and since then, have been involved in various PFY locations, both as a teacher and a student. None of this would have been possible without Jerry LePore’s vision and commitment to this practice and community. Through yoga and PFY, I have formed many friendships, and I will always be grateful to Jerry for making that possible,” a Facebook post said.

“Words can’t express how sad I feel today. Jerry LePore was one of the great ones. I will always have a special place in my heart for him. Rest in Peace, friend,” another post said.
