Heaven gained one of the brightest stars in the universe. Jennifer Lynn Salem, 39, died in a diabetic coma following a valiant fight with Type 1 Diabetes. You could feel like everyone was Jennifer’s best friend and hear her emotional expressions from hundreds of feet away. She was always very affectionate, giving hugs and “kissys” to everyone.

She frequently put others before herself since she had their best interests at heart. After graduating from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in fashion business, she studied abroad in Italy and New York City. She was passionate about fashion and style. Before she was qualified as a personal trainer and yoga instructor, she worked for Vera Wang as a bridal dress designer. She took great pleasure in supporting people physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

After a thirty-minute session, she would talk for hours on end with her many customers, many of whom she became friends with. Jennifer was ecstatic to see her brother Anthony J. Salem and mother Eva “the Diva” once more. Her father Anthony M. Salem (Kelly), brothers Tony (Kallie), Wayra (son Zeke), and Phillip (Jonathan), as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, survive her. Her nephew Anthony “LA” Marble-Salem (Alyssa) also passes away.
