Japanese McDonald's ad with anime family is the 'cutest thing' ever
A new Japanese McDonald’s ad has gone viral on social media as everyone is obsessed with the adorable anime scene.
It was shared on the official McDonald’s Japan Twitter page on September 20 and has left people saying “we want more”.
New Japanese McDonald’s ad
In the commercial for the American fast-food chain, a family of three is sitting at a table eating a McDonald’s meal.
The ad is an anime cartoon, with the whole 21-second scene drawn in the Japanese film and television animation style.
A black-haired man is sitting with his red-haired wife and their young daughter in the advert which has no speech.
They are eating McNuggets and chips and laughing happily as they share a nice meal together in their family home.
People think it’s the ‘cutest thing’
The commercial has gone viral on Twitter and everyone thinks it’s totally adorable.
One person commented: “This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”
“We need more of these cute animated commercials worldwide!” said another.
A third person added: “This is a wonderful advertisement. Very wholesome & cute.”
“You’ve made the greatest fast food ad of all time I hope you know,” another wrote.
Someone else said: “This ad is so cute I can’t.”
It’s advertising Halloween deals
The wholesome commercial is advertising McDonald’s Japan’s Halloween McNugget deals which are new for 2023.
McDonald’s is offering combo deals with shrimp nuggets, chicken nuggets and chips for one or two people.
If you look closely at the ad, there are some Halloween characters hanging off the chair, including Frankenstein and a mummy.
“From 5pm today onwards, the great value meal will be available with Puripuri Ebpurio for a limited time only!” the chain wrote on Twitter.
