Jang Uk and Naksu’s story was headed towards a bitter-sweet ending before the finale as viewers were made aware of the fact that Naksu’s soul will perish from Buyeon’s body. But the Alchemy Of Souls season 2 finale showed a rather satisfying ending where Jang Uk and Naksu live happily ever after. Awakening the firebird
Blinded by the greed for power and the urge to acquire the ice stone, Jin Mu plots to awaken the firebird which will set the whole world in flames. The king and other members of the unanimous assembly join his conspiracy as they attack Jinyowon and take the firebird’s egg.
Lady Jin and Kim Yeon enter Jinyowon to save it from collapsing and stop the relics from escaping but lady Jin’s power was not enough, so Songrim’s Park Jin had to step in and close the gate.
At that time, it seems like the two women are trapped inside and have passed away but later viewers get to know that Buyeon came at in the right time and saved them.
Park Jin fights Jin Mu but gets stabbed and left to die as the main conspirer leaves with the fire bird’s egg.
While Jin Mu’s perfect plan was going as he desired, Jang Uk comes back to Daeho and decides to awaken the firebird before, so they get to change the outcome.
Jang Uk’s wrath does not leave anyone alive as Jin Mu and everyone in a unanimous assembly gets burned alive.
Later, Buyeon awakens the firebird and Jang Uk slays it saving the world.
Jang Uk and Naksu’s happily ever after
Jang Uk and Naksu meet at Danhyanggok where they accept their past and present. Later, master Lee helps them get married and the most beautiful wedding ceremony sees light and shadow finding their destiny together.
But later, Naksu remembers the last bit of her past memory with Jang Uk and loses consciousness as Buyeon takes over.
However after Jang Uk and Naksu (Cho Yeong) end up saving the world, Buyeon leaves the body giving it back to Naksu/ Cho Yeong.
Our power couple goes on a hunt to catch relics together and once in a while climb up to the tree in Danhyanggok watching the world from the top.
Who died in Alchemy Of Souls season 2 final
Jin Mu and the members of the unanimous assembly die in the season 2 final of Alchemy Of Souls but Park Jin, maid Kim, and lady Jin are all saved thanks to master Lee.
Seo Yul is the new master and the crown prince becomes the king
Songrim re-establishes peace as Seo Yul becomes the new master to train mages and the crown prince becomes the king.
Park Dang Gu and Jin Choyeon become parents to twin boys a year later and Park Jin and Kim Yeon are left to babysit them more often than not. In other words, Daeho gets its happily ever after with the best leaders ensuring peace.

Directed by Park Joon Hwa and written by Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, Alchemy Of Souls depicts a picture-perfect world of magic where love wins above all.
From Lee Jae Wook’s charismatic Jang Uk to Hwang Minhyun’s Seo Yul and the rest of the star-studded cast of the K-drama bring lives to the characters making the drama a must-watch for all fantasy seekers.
The drama’s stunning cinematography and action scenes deserve special mentions which made the drama a gripping watch.
