JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) sukses mencatatkan pertumbuhan penjualan 18 persen secara year on year sepanjang tahun 2023.
Sejak awal mula berdirinya HMID pada 2020, penjualan setiap tahun diklaim selalu mencatat kenaikan yang positif mengandalkan 8 model kendaraan yang tersedia di segmen Electric Vehicle (EV), Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), dan Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV).
“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada masyarakat Indonesia yang telah menjadikan Hyundai sebagai solusi mobilitasnya, sehingga kami mampu mencatatkan peningkatan penjualan secara berkelanjutan di Indonesia dari tahun 2020 hingga 2023,” ucap Woojune Cha, President Director PT HMID, Selasa (6/2/2024).
Dari total unit yang terjual pada 2023, lima produk yang paling diminati konsumen adalah Stargazer termasuk Stargazer X, Creta, Ioniq 5, dan Palisade.

Mengacu pada data wholesales Gabungan Industri Kendaraan Bermotor Indonesia (Gaikindo), sepanjang 2023 Hyundai berhasil distribusikan Stargazer (termasuk Stargazer X) dari pabrik ke diler sebanyak 15.886 unit.
Sementara untuk Creta mencatatkan angka distribusi 8.315 unit, dan untuk segmen SUV premium Palisade sebanyak 322 unit.
Sebanyak 7.176 unit mobil Ioniq 5 juga tercatat telah dikirimkan untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Untuk Ioniq 6 total pengiriman mobil yang diproduksi ke diler Hyundai sebanyak 263 unit.
“Untuk Ioniq 5 pertumbuhan penjualan hampir empat kali lipat. (Tahun) 2022, 1.800 unit dan di 2023 lebih dari 7.000 unit,” ucap Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Chief Operating Officer PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID).
Adapun untuk daerah yang mencatatkan penjualan produk tertinggi meliputi Jakarta, Tangerang, Depok, Surabaya dan Bandung.
