An ongoing fantasy romance drama series titled My Man is Cupid has taken over fans, becoming a hot topic among them not just because of the good looks of the leading actors but also because of the fantastic plotline.
Written by screenwriter Heo Sung Hee, who is known for writing the 2016 drama One More Happy Ending, and directed by Nam Tae Jin, who worked for Lovers of the Red Sky, the show has caused much anticipation among fans.
This South Korean television aired its first episodes on December 1st, 2023, and has promised fans the release of a total of sixteen episodes full of romance, fluff, and other-worldly magic. The show’s producers have managed to bring together actors we did not imagine together and now cannot seem to get enough of.

Actor Jang Dong Yoon, who you may know from the hit series The Tale of Nokdu, and actress and model Nana, who you may recognize from her idol days when she was active in girl groups After School and Orange Caramel, have come together as the leading cast of this show.
Apart from these two eye candies, the show also has Park Ki Woong from Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung and Bridal Mask in the role of Seo Jae Hee, along with Moon Ye Jin, Kwon Ah Reum, Kim Do Ah, and Han So Hyun as supporting characters.
The Plot
Meet Cheon Sang Hyuk, a literal angel who is good-looking and charismatic. He uses his charms to make women fall for him, and the task has never been difficult. We are told that his angel wings got burnt almost five hundred years ago, and now he roams the earth, having gone through twenty-seven metamorphoses.
It turns out that the twenty-eighth time is the charm for him because it throws him in the way of Baek Ryun. Meet Baek Ryun, a perfect beauty in the least who works at an animal center as a veterinarian. Much like the leading angel, she is also used to men falling for her everywhere she goes.
But while she was attractive and even gave some of them a chance to date her, her relationships with them never really lasted that long. A relationship with her comes at a cost, a hefty price that usually puts the men with her in life-threatening situations.
Not wanting near-death experiences to become a norm, all the men she dated would run away. Tired of her bad luck and her cursed love life, Baek Ryun decides to take a break from dating men, but with her luck not changing and her being single for too long, she is getting tired of waiting for the right guy to show up.

The show has confirmed the release of sixteen episodes, each with a runtime of no longer than an hour. The first episode was dropped at the start of December, and new episodes will be released on a weekly schedule, i.e., every Friday and Saturday.
