Noma, recognized as one of the world’s top restaurants with Rene Redzepi as head chef and co-owner, will close before the end of 2024. The good news, however, is that it will be upgraded to Noma 3.0. According to an official statement published by the restaurant,

“(It would be) a pioneering experimental kitchen for food innovation and flavor creation, a kitchen that will share the benefits of our labor more widely than ever before.”

The restaurant says it wants to establish a chain that engages in the creation of new culinary innovations, and where people can learn and progress. As the COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted businesses globally, Noma 3.0 has been deployed. Rene Redzepi noted two years ago that the epidemic taught people a valuable lesson and people realized that it was difficult to achieve goals in this area. He says the team has been working on improving customer service, and now that they have a strategy, they’ll start implementing it. In an interview with The New York Times, Redzepi said that when the restaurant first opened, he used counseling and walking meditation to calm his rage.
