And just like that, the second season of Childish Gambino's FX series Atlanta has come to an end.

As should have been clear from the series' pilot episode—one that opened with OJ Da Juiceman's trap classic, "No Hook"—Donald Glover will always dive all the way into the depths of his record crate to create an audio soundscape unlike that of any other on television.

Each episode of Atlanta acts as a self-contained museum for various periods of hip-hop—everything ranging from eccentric boom-bap to peak 2018 trap, from Gucci Mane to The Pharcyde. This season, which wrapped last night (May 10), has been no different.

Over the course of 11 episodes, Gambino's unloaded cuts from the likes of UGK, SahBabii, Tay-K, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Death Grips to help paint his Atlanta ambiance. He even took the time to slip in the original version of Craig Mack's not-as-timeless-but-still-great "Flava in Your Ear." It still slaps.
