Gary Lohman biography

Gary H. Lohman is Director of Canuc Resources Corporation. He has resigned from the position of President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from 1 October 2014. Mr. Lohman was appointed President and CEO of the Corporation in January, 2011. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in November 2009 and previously was a Consultant to the Corporation. Mr. Lohman is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has been a professional geologist for over 25 years. During his career he has worked throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, Argentina and Ecuador conducting exploration for precious and base metals in a variety of geologic environments. In the early 1980’s, Mr. Lohman worked at the Lornex porphyry copper deposit located in British Columbia (presently Highland Valley Copper) followed by numerous years in the province conducting exploration for a variety of junior mining companies. During the 1990’s, Mr. Lohman managed numerous exploration projects in the United States, Mexico and Latin America including preliminary drilling on the Creston molybdenum property which is presently being developed by Creston Moly Corp. In 2001 Mr. Lohman left the industry and became a Microsoft Systems Engineer, for the Niagara Heath System and later from 2003 to 2005, Mr. Lohman was the Manager of Technical Services for Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto. In 2005, Mr. Lohman returned to the mining industry working for Columbia Metals Corporation (now NWM Mining Corporation) and Virgin Metals Inc. on their Mexico projects. Mr. Lohman also serves as a Director for NWM Mining Corporation.
