Owners of a local comic book store will donate property after an explosion destroyed their building.

Tim’s Corner was one of two businesses destroyed after a propane explosion in March.

Monday night, Rock Island City Council approved the Seuss family’s request to donate the comic book store’s old space.

An alderman says talks about developing the property already started.

It will most likely be left open as space for live music or to sit on benches and relax.
