Ellen Degeneres Halloween costume faces backlash online!
Ellen Degeneres has faced her fair share of controversy this year, after being accused of mistreating staff on her television show, The Ellen Show.
The talk show host showed off her costume on her social media accounts and while some fans liked it, others called her out for hypocrisy.

Ellen Degeneres shows off Halloween costume
On October 30th Ellen Degeneres shared a video clip on her Twitter account, where she can be seen showing off her Halloween costume.
Ellen is dressed in a superhero nurse costume for Halloween, and she captioned her video: “My costume this year is inspired by the real superheroes of 2020.”
The talk show host wore a white nurse outfit with a large superhero logo on the dress, along with a red and blue superhero cape and hat.
Twitter reacts to Ellen’s Halloween costume
One Twitter user replied to Ellen’s post with: “People who treat their employees with basic dignity? Costume is so good you almost had me fooled.”
Another user said: “Who are the real superheroes? People who treat their staff well?”
However some Twitter users were big fans of the costume, with one writing:
“Love this!! I’m in my 38th year of nursing and have birthed babies, recovered patients after surgeries, facilitated high risk OB patient transfers and answered questions about Covid on our state’s Covid Hotline. We wear many hats but our goal is always to care for others.”
