The annual James O’Melia award was given to one male and one female senior athlete at Rock Island High School on Thursday, June 1. 

Justice Edell was the female award winner. Edell was a four-year letterwinner on the Rocks basketball team.

Jacob Ellis was the male award winner. Ellis was a two-year starter on the Rocks football team and a two-year letter winner on the basketball team.
