At 11:16 a.m. June 25, 2023, Davenport Police, EMS and the Davenport Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Bridge Avenue, Davenport, for a heroin overdose. “The victim was found on the ground and required medical attention and several doses of Narcan to be revived,” affidavits say.

Park was inside the residence and admitted she lived there. “Several used needles and pieces of aluminum foil were located inside the living room of the residence indicating multiple people were using heroin inside the residence,” according to affidavits.

In affidavits, police allege Park admitted she and the victim both use heroin and that she had purchased heroin and brought it into the house. She said the victim “just got in town the day prior,” affidavits show.

Narcan, according the U. S. Food and Drug Administration, is a medication that rapidly reverses the effects of opioid overdose,

Park, who was arrested on a warrant, was being held Thursday on bond in Scott County Jail. She is set for arraignment March 7 in Scott County Court.
