A Davenport furniture store is donating beds to an area organization helping the homeless.

Slumberland Furniture donated 40 beds to Bethany for Children & Families. The donation is dedicated to Quad-City families and teens getting off the streets and into stable housing as winter approaches.

A spokesperson with Bethany says beds are needed all over the QCA, and this is the 15th year Slumberland has donated beds to the organization.
