THE FINAL TWO SHOWS WILL ALLUDE TO THE PRESENCE OF FURTHER VECNA

Fans of Stranger Things can, happily, look forward to quite a few more sequences that focus on 001 in the upcoming volume of the fourth season of the show. Vecna is a terrible and intriguing villain.

Barrie Gower, who is in charge of the makeup effects team, disclosed not too long ago to Metro that Vecna will play a significant role once more in the pilot episode of Volume 2.

Gower stated that he “can’t really say too much without giving stuff away obviously, but there’s a nod to what we’ve done in the final two episodes [in season 4] right at the end of episode seven, where we see that story arc of Jamie Campbell Bower as the orderly and there’s the big reveal at the end of episode seven that we find out he’s obviously Vecna.” This was in reference to the fact that the big reveal occurred at the end of episode seven

“So therefore, his transition at the end of that episode when he’s kind of travelling through the netherworld into the Upside Down, that’s a bit of a nod as to where we might be bringing him in the subsequent episodes,” — Barrie Gower, using the Metro system.

The exceptionally gifted special effects makeup artist then continued by saying, “there’s a lot of Vecna in the final two episodes, and there’s some quite interesting stuff we were able to accomplish for it.”
