The investment seeks maximum total return with an emphasis on providing cash distributions to shareholders.
The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (including amounts borrowed for investment purposes) in common units of master limited partnerships and equity securities of "MLP affiliates" which the adviser defines as entities issuing MLP I-shares, general partners of MLPs and other entities that primarily invest in MLPs. It concentrates in securities of companies in the energy infrastructure industry and the energy industry, and the adviser intends to make the majority of its investments in "midstream" MLPs. The fund is non-diversified.
