BROOKLYN Beckham’s photography book has sold little more than 3,800 copies in the UK since its release in June, the Sun Online can reveal.

What I See, which was panned by critics and dismissed as a vanity project by many, is currently lingering around 28,812nd on the Amazon best-seller list.

According to Nielsen book data, the famous teen's book has sold 3,890 copies - an average of 33 copies a day since its release on June 29 this year.

The panned book, rated 2.5 stars online, has managed to be ranked the Best Seller in Amazon's Photography for Young Adults - beating out the 4.5 star ranked Dinosaurs: 101 Super Fun Facts And Amazing Pictures for the top spot.

In the General Art Books for Young Adults category on Amazon, the book currently sits at about 20th - below Write and Draw Your Own Comics and Elizabeth James' Unicorns and Cupcakes.

What I See's sales are a barely a third of that compared to the best-selling photography book in the UK this year, with a Henry Carroll title having so far topped the category with around 11,000 copies sold year to date.

While it may not be the next Harry Potter, What I See has been named the eighth-bestselling photography book in the UK this year, and made the Sunday Times bestseller list.

It is understood the US publisher is currently waiting for a reprint to replenish stock.

The book, by the eldest son of moguls David and Victoria, made in £46,573.74 in sales since its release.

The book of 300 photographs offers blurry shots of the 18-year-old and his family at everything from A-list parties to luxury holidays.

Reviews of the book on Amazon have been less than favourable, with one person writing: "Whilst not as comfortable as the usual 3-ply Kittensoft I normally use, I have found the pages of "What I See" to be a more than adequate alternative should an emergency arise."

Another added: "Utter drivel by an overprileged (sic) kid using the parents' name. Doesn't even deserve one star. Most of us have better pictures on our camera phones."

Some of the photographs snapped by Brooklyn are adorable, but while one of his sister Harper colouring and his brother Romeo with a bunch of flowers against a wall, one photo did NOT get the complete seal of approval.

In one pic, readers can only see the corners of Brooklyn's shoes as he teeters over the edge of a 16-storey high building to take a bird's eye picture of the view below.

Next to the black and white shot, he wrote: "Don't try this at home. My parents were so angry when they saw this. Cool shot though."

Another shot lamented at how difficult elephants were to photograph.

Brooklyn had previously released he liked using natural light for shots, and tried not to let his family pose for the shots.

The young star is now set to pursue his photography ambitions full time after bagging himself a scholarship at an arts university in Manhattan, New York.

A representative for Brooklyn Beckham said they would not be commenting on the sales.

A spokesperson for Penguin Random House Children's said: "We were delighted that Brooklyn Beckham hit the bestseller list on publication and we are happy with the sales of this title so far."
