The ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues to impact the global anime industry, following multiple major delays on the recently concluded 2023 Winter slate.
Unfortunately, the various postponements from the last season are set to continue into the Spring slate, with confirmation that the next episode of Bofuri will be delayed worldwide.

Bofuri season 2 episode 11 sadly delayed
Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense season 2 episode 11 was originally scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 5; however, the official Japanese website has since confirmed that the broadcast will be delayed.
Unfortunately, as modern anime are not simulcast internationally until the domestic broadcast has concluded, this means that fans worldwide will be in the same boat concerning the hiatus.
Earlier in the release schedule, Bofuri season 2 episode 7 was delayed for several weeks following the surge in coronavirus cases within the production team; the subsequent re-scheduling of upcoming anime content is why episodes 11 and 12 have been delayed.
The official press release explained, “As a result of a re-evaluation of the production situation, we have decided to postpone the broadcast and distribution schedule for episodes 11 and 12, which we announced the other day, in order to maintain the quality of the main story.”
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may cause to those who have been looking forward to the production”, the team added.
as much as it sucks, kinda expected bofuri season 2 to get delayed again. they like to sync up the airing with the season so airing the final two episodes when spring season starts makes sense.

Bofuri season 2 episode 11 release date, time explained
Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense season 2 episode 11 is now scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 12.
The anime will retain its regular programming block in Japan, meaning that as confirmed by Crunchyroll, new episodes will release at the following times:
- Pacific Time – 8:30 AM
- Eastern Time – 11:30 AM
- British Time – 4:30 PM
- European Time – 5:30 PM
- India Time – 9 PM
- Philippine Time – 11:30 PM
- Australia Eastern Standard Time – 1:30 AM
A preview synopsis has not yet been shared for Bofuri season 2 episode 11.
#Bofuri getting delayed by two weeks was definitely not a good thing, particularly given why it happened.

When does the next manga chapter release?
15 complete Tankobon volumes of the original Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense light novel series, and seven volumes of the manga adaptation have been published in Japan.
The good news is that eight volumes of the light novel and five volumes of the manga series have been published in English by Yen Press.
Both volume nine of the light novel and volume seven of the manga are set to release in English on May 23, 2023.
Physical copies of both versions are available via outlets including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BAM, Indigo, and RightStuf. Alternatively, digital copies are also available via Kindle, Google Play, Apple iBooks, and Rakuten Kobo.
