Billy Copple Car Accident; The Fresno County Coroner’s has identified the Tesla driver who died in a head-on collision last week Wednesday in Clovis.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened at Highway 168 and Shepherd Avenue at around 10:10 p.m.

32-year-old Billy Copple was driving a Tesla eastbound on the highway when he lost control and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck operated by a 59-year-old man from Prather.

Copple, a resident of Prather, was killed in the accident.

The driver of the Chevy was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
