A Bettendorf Middle School Teacher is behind bars accused of driving while intoxicated.

Tanya Gilmore was arrested early Saturday morning charged with a DUI.

According to Scott County officials, she also hit a highway structure.

It happened just after 4 a.m.

She’s now out on bond from Scott County jail.
