According to authorities, She has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the January death of her infant son.

Artesia police said She was taken into custody Wednesday after a lengthy investigation.

Investigators said Alexee gave birth to the baby on January 27 in the bathroom of an Artesia hospital before allegedly throwing it into a garbage can.

They said Alexee went to the hospital’s emergency room for back pain and was told that lab tests showed she was pregnant and in labor.

Police said Alexee allegedly locked herself in a bathroom where she gave birth to a baby boy, tied him to a dustbin, and hid it under a dustbin.
